Day #17 January 6 2019

Weather: Stunt run!

Cold weather today led to me cutting this run by about half. When my left foot is cold, it’s just the echoes of last years frostbite, but when both get cold, I consider it a more serious warning.

Or maybe I’m just a bit lazy today. Either way, I missed the trail section of this run.

Seasonal Averages looking good

Earlier in the day, Judi and I headed down to Rotary Park to get a group photo with 8/20ths our Walk To Tuk team, Arctic Coastbusters. I’m there second from the left, sporting my favourite orange scarf, made for me by my sweetheart.

Note the truck out on the lake, well behind the ‘Road Closed’ sign.

Training Tip: Garmin graphs – run cadence

I attempt to keep my cadence consistent. This graph reflects that well enough, Though I seldom check it. I’m sure this chart would help with tracking it, but I’ve learned to enjoy other methods.

Yours Truly, running myself a secret ‘Course Record’ on Strava
