Weather: Stunt run!
Cold enough to warrant the additional caution, but gorgeous in the trails.

Todays run was less ‘directed’, and ran a bit long (sorry, Jen!) but it was pretty damned great out there, so still a win overall.
We stayed out of the wind as much as we were able, and it took us behind the hospital. Right up to the top of the hill, in the wind.
Then we went bumbling around the trails. We hit the escalator, bypassed Risky Biscuits, connected via Frame Lake Connector, came back to the main trail via Meghan Trail, and generally had a good time. It was even warm enough to stop a couple times, catch our breath and take in just how beautiful it is.
We really have it good.
Training Tip: Yellowknife Social Runners
This strava group has 76 members, with many of them active regularly. Last week, for example, while being particularly cold, there were still 26 people posting activities to their strava feed. I find it encouraging to ‘see’ others out there being active, especially when I know them personally.
Sign up, it’s warming.
