Weather: Stunt run!

Still not too cold, but had to keep moving.

Tonight was the usual run, with extra-nice trails. The packed areas are about as good as it gets. There were some minor rough areas, but mostly because I cut corners.

Still over 75% of runs below -30C

Training Tip: Trailrunning is trickier going downhill

In trails, the most challenging parts can be running the downhill segments. It’s worth putting them regularly into training. For a simple workout you can occasionally do your hill repeats backward – meaning run fast down the hill, and run back up at your recovery pace.
